Alabama’s busiest travel corridors converge in Jefferson County and more EVs are registered in Jefferson County than any other Alabama county. Charging infrastructure installations are on the rise in homes and at publicly accessible locations. Jefferson County leaders are invited to participate in this FREE workshop on September 27.

The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) received a grant to coordinate approximately 30 virtual workshops across the country. The workshops are intended to bring together local leaders to discuss how communities are responding to rising EV adoption. The Alabama Clean Fuels Coalition (ACFC) has partnered with NFPA to host one of these virtual workshops for Jefferson County leaders. The FREE virtual workshop will be facilitated jointly by ACFC and NFPA.
