Event Details

Alabama’s busiest travel corridors converge in Jefferson County and more EVs are registered in Jefferson County than any other Alabama county. Charging infrastructure installations are on the rise in homes and at publicly accessible locations. Jefferson County leaders are invited to participate in this FREE workshop on November 6.

The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) received a grant to coordinate approximately 30 virtual workshops across the country. The workshops are intended to bring together local leaders to discuss how communities are responding to rising EV adoption. The Alabama Clean Fuels Coalition (ACFC) has partnered with NFPA to host one of these virtual workshops for Jefferson County leaders. The FREE virtual workshop will be facilitated jointly by ACFC and NFPA.

Please RSVP “Yes” if you will be able to attend this workshop via Zoom. The link will be shared prior to the event.

If you plan to attend the workshop, please review and complete one of the Pre-Workshop Learning courses before the start of your local workshop.

RSVPing is closed at this time.

Alabama Clean Fuels Coalition

Alabama Clean Fuels Coalition (ACFC) serves as the principal coordinating point for clean, transportation alternative fuel and advanced technology vehicle activities in Alabama. The Clean Cities program was established in 1993 by the U.S. Department of Energy to facilitate voluntary public/private partnerships around the country to create viable markets for clean, alternative fuel vehicles. ACFC was incorporated in 2002 as an Alabama 501c3 non-profit. We received our designation as a designated Clean Cities coalition in 2009 and was re-designated in 2014 and again recently in 2022.
